An Interschool Chess Tournament is held every year in Mildura at the Irymple Leisure Centre, and run by Chess Kids. The winning school in each division then qualifies to select 5 students to represent it at the Victorian State Finals, which is held in Melbourne at Monash University. For 2010 the date for the finals is Monday 25th October.
