Sunraysia Chess Club meet at MADEC Community College, Madden Avenue Mildura, on Fridays (excluding Victorian school holidays, and Victorian and National public holidays- please check the calendar). All results, player profiles and games are available from http://tornelo.chesskids.com.au/ Each Friday night we play one 'round' to contribute towards the whole term tournament. There are
currently five divisions: Open, U18,
U14, U10, U8 Your 'tournament age' is your age as of the first day of that year. We would like to welcome anybody that loves to play chess, or has an interest in learning, to contact us! We have had a huge amount of interest this year from local youth, which is really exciting news for the futrure of chess! However for our club we have needed to restrict the numbers in the U18, U14, U10, and U8 age divisions so that we are able to run an enjoyable Friday Night Club that is not too chaotic. So if you are a youth interested in joining please contact us and we can let you know whether there are spots available in your age division, or otherwise we can put you on the waiting list if you wish. Adults are always more than welcome to join or just pop in whenever you can!
